Fineview.gr is an established news portal with over 40,000 articles, focusing on news from Patras and Western Greece, while covering topics from all over Greece and the world. Web Nectus undertook the complete reconstruction of the website, aiming to transform it into a modern, dynamic platform that will meet the demands of modern journalism. The project focused on seamless functionality, excellent performance and strengthening the business capabilities of the site.

01. The Challenge
Fineview.gr, with its huge volume of content (over 40,000 articles), was facing the challenge of maintaining seamless functionality, fast performance, and business growth in an older structure. It needed a complete rebuild that would modernize the look, drastically improve speed and user experience, and integrate advertising and automation solutions to remain competitive and profitable in the news space, especially with a focus on Patras and Western Greece.
02. The Solution
Web Nectus undertook the complete redesign of Fineview.gr, creating a modern and user-friendly design that improved readability and navigation. We emphasized performance, implementing extensive optimizations for loading speed and server management, while integrating Cloudflare for additional security and speed. To boost revenue, we implemented dynamic banner placements and integrated Google AdSense. In addition, we developed a customized news feed for the organized presentation of content, and added social media publishing automation for greater reach. Finally, the website became bilingual (Greek and English), expanding its audience.
03. The Result
With the comprehensive website renewal by Web Nectus, Fineview.gr achieved immediate and significant results. It achieved immediate ranking on the first page of Google for selected articles, while seeing a significant increase in traffic and an improvement in the overall user experience. The strategic integration of Google AdSense and the use of custom banners led to an increase in advertising revenue. In addition, the connection with Cloudflare offered top speed and security, while automated publishing on social media brought greater awareness.
